Wordpress 2.2? The latest stable is 2.0.2. Couldn’t see any beta/alpha/cvs version labelled as 2.2

oh yes. I made a mistake. 2.0.2 it is.
Btw, does anyone know if it’s possible to have one installation of Wordpress shared between different blogs? As in, a single code-base but different templates mapped to different URLs?

Well yes it is possible.. you can hack the wordpress code.. or better.. see on wordpress.org.. you should be able to find code that they use for wordpress.com which allows, multiple blogs, each with a different set of users/templates etc..
