Of Frappuccinos and Best Taste Dates

I was at a Starbucks with a friend recently and he made a very interesting observation. The label on the bottle of Frappuccino had a date which read:
“Best Taste By Feb 12 07″

What do they really mean? Are they saying it won’t taste as good after that date, but I should feel free to drink it? How about adding more dates like: “Not so good taste until Apr 16 07″, “Barely potable after Jun 18 07″, “Toxic after December 10 07″.
Just a thought!

LMFAO!! I love your suggestions for the dates on the bottle! I am SOOOOO addicted to these frappuccinos and my refrigerater is always fully stocked. I always wondered about what the, best taste by date meant also. I thought it meant it expired by that date, but I tried one that was about a month past the date and it was fine. Now I’m thinking about them and I think I have to go have one now. LOL!

So I am a year or so late, but I love this drink. It is my morning caffeine fix.

I look at the date of them on the shelves and find the one furtherest in the future. I also swirl it a bit before buying to see if there is any milky cloud that stays on the glass. I got a pack that did that and they were nasty.

I haven’t found anything to drink that is better than this product!!

So I am late on this too but I came across this page as a google search for THE EXACT SAME QUESTION!!! LOL! So in response to your original question, my Starbucks Frappuchino Dark Choclate Peppermint Mocha had a Best Taste by date of June 23, 2008…..and I have a whole case of them and they taste great so far!
