Freenet Post: Suggests a plot for a hollywood movie:The Hypocrite
Was browsing through Frost on Freenet and came across a post that comments on the recent situation in southern america. Found it hilarious.
If this latest hurricane was not so tragic, it would make a great plot for a religious/sci-fi movie. A hypocrite gets the backing of the christians. He is elected president when his brother (the governor of Florida) helps him steal the election. He is reelected when he fakes votes. God strikes Florida with more hurricanes than ever before in recorded history. The president still dosen't learn his lesson. The president stays the course in his war against the heathens while making his his rich friends richer (and the general population poorer). God causes another hurricane to distroy a city and much of the energy production for the country. The oil companies (the president's friends) jack up the oil prices and get richer. A majority of the people left in the remains of the city slowly start dying from the diseases spread by the flood waters. Will the president learn? Will God stop the distruction? If not, what else has he in store for THE HYPOCRITE?
It's interesting to see how people are when they know they can say & do things anonymously.
